Sacramento Area Meet Up- Sunday June 14, 2020 - 9:00 AM in Elk Grove
Sacramento Area Meet Up
Sunday June 14, 2020
9:00 AM
In the parking lot area of:
Joannes Fabric and Crafts
8509 Bond Road
Elk Grove, CA 95624
Hey guys
Let's meet at the above location. The parking lot is pretty big. It's next to Joannes Fabrics at the former Toys R Us section. I think its now going to be a Scandinavian Design but I doubt it will be open in the next couple of weeks. This location is easy to get to, out of the way from the general public, we shouldn't bother anyone, and I don't think we will draw a crowd so we could still practice social distancing. Enclosed is an aerial view of the location. Note that there are 2 different parking lot areas that do not connect. Do not enter the lot from East Stockton Blvd. ENTER THE LOT FROM BOND at the Black Bear Diner entrance.
Only a few people responded on the original post and I will PM them with the info. But we'll see how many people actually show up.Hope to see you there.
Eddie

Factory Five Racing Sacramento - First Meetup
Not a bad turnout! 7 cobras and 14 guys and a lovely wife showed up. I had around 4 other guys who told me they couldn't make it.
Thanks everyone for coming out to our first get together. It was great to see some familiar faces and to meet new people. Hopefully the guys still building got some good tips and ideas. I think the Facebook suggestion is a great idea to keep us all connected. I'm not into social media but I'll explore this subject further. I'm at work and won't be back home until Tuesday afternoon. It was a beautiful non traffic drive into San Francisco. When I find time I'll type up the hand written roster and email them out to everyone. As summer moves forward and the Pandemic restrictions recede, we'll set up a local cruise and have lunch some where. Any suggestions?

It was fun Brien. We’ll get together again soon and go on a cruise. If you don’t mind I could put your info on the roster?

Hi, folks. Wife and I were talking and came up with a suggestion for a cruise/lunch: Nevada City. Beautiful area, and you can make the trip there as straight or as windy as you want.
