I am the original owner and builder (except for bodywork & paint).
I built this car to drive, not sit in the garage. This car runs great and looks great. Is a blast to drive, super quick. Well sorted, no bugs.
Drove the full Hotrod Power Tour in 2014. Drove from south Florida to Louisville in 2019 for the NSRA Streetrod Nationals. You could drive it cross country tomorrow with no worries.
Finished my 35 Truck build. Making room for next project.

Very nice Cobra. I'm new to the FFR and Cobra world.
3 Questions:
1) The wheels look like Mustang Bulitt type or a variation. Where did you buy them? I very much like the style.
2) Are you pleased with the high back seats? For safety reasons (i.e. getting rear ended) they make sense and fit the car in pix at least, IMO.
3) Any chance I can view the car and try the seat out? I'm 6 ft. 180#
I am heading to Orlando and Melbourne to visit family next week and am gathering advice and tips on the Mark 4 from owner/builders. Judging from the pix you are meticulous. The garage looks like a showroom!
I am in the "pre-season" phase now and will soon place a complete kit order with FFR and need to sort some choices out. Would certainly like your take on the drivetrain also. If receptive, please PM me. Thanks in advance.
Ed Klein.
Hi, Im going to be back in Florida, Orlando area in a week or so. I would like to come down and take a look at your beautiful car if that possible. TIA
