Hello fellow No. IL and So. WI FFR owners. Car show for a good cause coming up in a couple weeks.

I plan to attend as long as the weather cooperates. One of my friends with a FFR 33 hot rod is going. Anyone else interested?

$20.00 Show car Registration starts at 8:30
KOOL CARS- Awesome food -Great Rock and Roll Music – Live DJ - Raffles -50/50- Trivia Participant voting
*Top 40 Vehicles will be awarded real trophies including: Best of Show, Stock, and Modified.

I am game, as long as my title comes in before then, that would probably be my 1st long ride, rather than a 5-10 mile put around the midway area.

Hope it works out. Weather next Saturday, at this point, looks like 82 and 30% chance of rain. I'm sure it will change 20 times between now and then!

We can meet in the parking lot of Steven's Restaurant on the NE corner of Washington and Milwaukee if that works... I'd say just meet at my house but my neighbors already a little pissed at me . There is a new coffee shop there (riverside cafe) so we can get some java before the event.

Thinkcobra he’s just over the border in Wisconsin. He has a 20th anniversary he built. So as of now I think we have 3 cobras a 33 and my truck going. Should be cool to have 5 factory fives at this show all parked together.
Anyone else want to join us more the merrier. Rob

We had a decent turnout! I think 7 roadsters, struck and a hotrod! A good time for a great cause!

It was a great time to meet and greet, also see some builds. Too bad I had a tire issue which I figured out, just waiting on FFR to verify the correct valve stems and ordered a new tire from Discount tire. Should be back on the road by Friday if all goes well.

Great day for a good cause. Over $2,000 was raised for Wounded Warrior Project. We had 8 FFRs and 1 Superformance. Even a top 10 car.

That ECC show should be cool. Probably some pretty crazy cars with hydraulic suspensions there!
