Hi there. You mentioned that it was running in 2016 but you recommend a lower half engine rebuild. Is it not running now or is there an issue that needs to be addressed? I live on the west side of Wisconsin btw. Also, I assume there’s a windshield for it?

Yes, it is titled and running great. Registered as a 65 cobra. Has all the parts needed for completion. Paint will be done in about a month. Then I will be asking $41,000 or possibly more.

Lots of time and $$$$ in this car. I am flexible on 35k right now, but after paint, I’ll be firm at 41k. The dash has over $2,000 in it alone. Original CAD design as a super comp cobra. Alex cobra glove box, custom hidden buttons for clock amd gas gauge. GPS speedo, reverse 200mph. T5z trans, heads were 2k. All wiring is done. Body was fit and gaps are good.

The roadster will be painted and finished in about a month. Deep Impact Blue Metallic with white stripes. Added a few more things, even though I promised I wouldnt spend more! When done, will be asking 41k-45k. Options include, glove box, manual choke installed with boss 302 cable, 1965 hazard switch and ignition switch and headlight bezel, reverse GPS 200mph speedo, air vents (cobra earls), hidden dimmer for gauges, two 12v cig lighters, russ thompson turn signals, real super comp dash layout by CAD design, hyd clutch and power steering. New ffr radiator amd breeze support kit and shroud. Hope its done soon!

The time has come to sell my project that I took on last year. It was originally bought by a dear friend of mine in 2011 and was a running/driving car in 2016. Due to various reasons, he parted ways with it and I bought it. I have since revamped a large portion of the vehicle. I had it slated for paint a month ago, but the painter is now significantly delayed, so it is sitting at a shop. The good news is the body work prep is mostly done. I also fit the body multiple times so it came out nicely.

Reasonable offers will be entertained. All receipts available from new. Spreadsheet was kept as well.

17" Halibrand Wheels (need new tires)

    Hydraulic Clutch
    Kirky high back seats
    Cobra front back brakes
    Cobra glove box from Alex
GPS gauges from speedhut (over $1000 for all)
    Cobra dash board like original
Trick flow Aluminum 11R heads 190cc (new)
Scorpion roller rockers and trickflow push rods and new Ford Racing roller lifters
    New water pump, etc.
Electric fuel pump with aeromotive regulator (6.5psi)

With all invested, I am looking to get $35,000 for it. A few things I would recommend would be a new short block or a rebuild on the lower half of the engine. Attachment 151503Attachment 151504Attachment 151505Attachment 151506Attachment 151507Once done, it will be a be very nice. Thank you,

Please consider $27,000, I assume it comes also with the windshield and a clear title. I checking on engine availability and around here they are quite expensive, like 5K and more. Thank you.

My roadster is also red. But, I think I like the smooth curvy lines of your hood without the scoop better. Nice ride!

The car is finished. Thinking of moving on in the spring. It needs a few minor things. Only has 80 miles on it. Paint is dusty in video, not one scratch. White stripes are inlaid into the paint. The whole car was painted Deep impact blue metallic (Ford color offered in 2014), with flake, same flake ratio in white (Color is Shelby GT500 white), then cleared with 3 coats. Painted by Mukwonago Custom Color Creations. Have the paint codes available. The whole car was
sanded multiple times, then cleared, painted the stripes and sprayed 3 clear coats over everything. The roll bars were painted gloss black with flakes. After this, it was sanded again. The paint has not been washed since and in storage. Brand new Toyo tires, 315 in the rear.

Has extra parts with it (extra door, over-riders painted black). Has a new 650 double pumper on it. Electric choke, with a manual choke installed (disconnected). GPS gauges. 2 12v chargers under dash. All gauges from Speedhut. 65 ford hazard switch. footwell lighting. Cobra earl feet coolers. Insulated well. Trunk carpet.

PM serious inquires only. $48,500/best offer. Would like to have a buyer lined up for Spring.

*Side note. This has the Kirky seat buckets. Ideally the driver would be 5'10+. I am 6'0 and it is perfect. 6' 1-3" would still be a good fit too.

I had 2 serious offers, but thought I would end up driving it more, but ended up letting it sit for most of the season because I have two kids/busy. Some changes made. Motivated seller
