    We Lost A New Orleans Icon & National Treasure! R.I.P. Lawrence Brooks

    The oldest living WW-II Veteran called New Orleans his home for many years.
    Shown below was his 112th socially distanced birthday celebration:

    Yesterday he was laid to rest, honored at the museum that recognized him and The Greatest Generation.
    His funeral services were held yesterday at the World War II Museum.

    I belong to a Facebook group, World War II planes and their pilots. Reading their stories and viewing the photos shows how much they indeed belong to the greatest generation. Rest in peace and let freedom ring!
