Side piles on 289 car

Hey guys and gals. How are you running exhaust on your 289 cars
My side pipes are nowhere close to being able to hook up to J pipes
Pictures or advice please

Hi Gary,

I pretty much followed the manual. Shorty headers facing forward to the J pipes. Then bolted up the side pipes. Had to trim back some of the body for clearance, but other than that, everything lined up.
