Hello Wisconsin
Hello,
On new years day I ordered a roadster kit and it is scheduled to be completed in September. Pretty standard stuff; windsor mounts, IRS, 15" wheels. This was right after I found a 315 mile takeout IRS from a wrecked Mustang on eBay.
It was much too good of an opportunity since it was a clean limited slip and had the 3.73:1 ratio. I had it shipped to work and stripped out the parts I needed for this build. The rest ended up out back in the scrap trailer. I did save the brakes, even though I won't be able to use them. Luck was on my side, my rear end is a torsen differential.
Since January I had an opportunity to buy a spectacular car, and consequently I don't know if I want to move forward with the kit this year. I understand prices have and will only go up in the future, so I need to ponder on this before doing anything rash in August. I did already order and receive the brake kits from Gordon Levy so that I could run the 15" wheels.
I'm a fairly reserved person, so either way I won't be posting very much on these forums.

Welcome! I bought a "project car" last December and it has been interesting working through issues from 20 yrs of prior ownership/neglect.
