    Lund Tune - need RTD+

Hi all, I am about to sign up for a Lund tune. They said they don't tune with SCT products but use the RTD+ credits with tune option here - https://www.lundracing.com/hp-tuners...20-engine-swap. I am depressed to see the cost of the tune is $1300 including the RTD+ device!!

I have heard you can save some $$$ by having the RTD+ hardware... Probably a long shot, but does anyone have a RTD+ device with extra credits that I can use?

How many credits do you need for the tune?

    Thanks in advance...
    Matt

agreed, I was pretty amazed at the price jumps as well - that's about the price of an in-person dyno tuned setup!

When I did mine I bought a used ngauge that still had unlocks left. I found it on the mustang groups on Facebook. Lund unlocks it for free when you buy a tune from them. The ngauge is discontinued and their prices have gone up. You could probably find the same with the RTD+. I did a quick search and not much came up though.

    I believe its 2 credits for 11-17 (Gen 1&2) and 4 credits for 18+ (Gen 3).

Yeah its been a little crazy. Before the prices went up, I paid $225 for my used ngauge and $650 for my tune (and it was more bc cams and the cobra jet intake) back in 2020.

Call Lethal Performance. They are advertising an SCT X4 tuner and Lund tune package.
Lund and Lethal probably have an agreement that will supersede Lund's changes.

I did the same thing - found an ngauge on FB marketplace for $250.
