Hydraulic throwout bearing line routing
Could anybody with a hydraulic TOB advise me as to where you ran your brake line to, to connect it to the TOB? I bought a 4AN braided steel hose kit from Speedway that also has a bleeder hose. As there is nothing in the manual about it and I can't put the clutch and trans yet, I need an idea of where to put the connection between the brake line (which isn't installed yet) and the braided hose. I'd like to install the brake line from the master cylinder to about where it needs to be before I install the interior aluminum panels. Thanks
Bruce

I went the hydraulic slave cylinder route verse hydraulic TOB but I assume the line routing from the master cylinder is similar. I used a braided hose all the way from the MC to the Slave Cylinder.
I ran it along the front of the MC assembly under the fuse panel and down the firewall to the slave cylinder. The trans tunnel covered it all, you don't see anything with the interior finished.

Great routing! Thanks. What harness is that running along the tunnel opening?

Rear harness (tail lights, license plate, fuel gauge, fuel pump, etc).

I ran the clutch line alongside the brake lines (same material) and then attached as below to the flex hose: The bleed hose goes up top by rear of intake manifold so easy to get to.

Thanks all. I placed the braided line I have in the same approximate routing as 33fromSD to see if it would reach the master and it does. I held one end about where the TOB will be and held it down as I ran it up to the master .There is a 90 on one end so I just have to figure out which end goes where when I get the bellhousing, whenever that may be. I never thought it would be long enough to reach all the way.

I guess you'd have to reverse bleed that route? i.e. push fluid in the bleed screw, and air out the mc?

I ran the hard line from the master on the cockpit side of the firewall to just above the brake pedal Edit: I mean gas pedal. I went from there to the HTO bearing with flex....

The line kit for the TOB came with a bleeder line too along with some fittings. I bought a Motive Products pump up pressure bleeder and a couple of adapters for the masters from summit. It's like a garden pump sprayer with a pressure gauge on it and a hose with an AN fitting.

lol, it's fascinating how we all solve problems in slightly different ways. I love it!
