    33 Hot Rod...gas cap

Got a gen 1 the gas cap is glued together the cap moves down and leaks. Does anyone have a pictures of the Gen 2 cap, and where I could buy something to fit in the original hole. Been looking online cant find anything that would fit all are either too small or too big for it.

If the holes to mount it to the tank are the same as Gen 2 then you could get a complete new one from FFR. It came in a plastic box wrapped in foam. I threw my box away last weekend. It had a name on it but I don't know what it was. The new cap is solid and twists in to lock. The screw holes across are 3" apart.

There is no difference between gen1 and gen 2 as far as gas caps are concerned. There have been different ones used over the years but this is not related to gen 1 vs 2.

For example, the one shown by Masterech5 was also provided in my gen 1 kit and so far I have no complaints, seems to work just fine.
I'm sure this can be sourced from FFR as a separate part if need be
