Harness Bar Parts List
FFR no longer sells the Harness Bar for the 818, what parts are required?
37" Swaged tube, with 3/4"-16 solid rod ends is what I'm considering. What have other done?

Shawn, maybe the reason they discontinued the harness bar is because it never was correct. It was too long. The solid ends they sent were not necessary and bulky. I just cut a piece of tubing 1” dia, 1/8 wall, and welded on a short bushing on each end, which corresponded to the tabs ffr had installed.

what type of bushing did you weld in?
Agreed on why it might have been discontinued. I think it was designed for the original belt tabs, not the triangular brackets.

For the bushing, I drilled a 7/16 hole thru the center of a 1” solid round rod, then cut off a short piece to weld onto each end. Of course, the ends of the long tube should be coped to fit the radius of the end bushings while achieving your target dimension. Metal butchery!

I have one I’m not going to use. It’s yours if you want it, just pay the shipping, which might not be cheap.

I am interested if the OP doesn’t take the offer. Where do you live?
