wheel tire fitment reverse mount
i wanted to post a problem i faced when picking out tires and wheels
i have bike fenders and rear fenders and picked the max wheel & tire size that FFR reccomends for wilwood brakes. basically 17" wheels
beware that some wheels are "reverse mount" meaning they install the tire from the back
it only effects the wider wheels like the rear
this means that the wheel hub will have a bump in it and so your 17" wheel esentially now becomes a 15" wheel and will hit your wilwood brakes
i had to add a 1" spacer to the rears and it clears, plenty of room for fender.
i had never heard of reverse mount and no website mentions it so before you pull the trigger on your setup, ask
oe wheels Bullit front 17x9 rear 17x10.5
Nitto G2 NT555 Front: 255/40ZR17 Rear: 315/35ZR17
