    More electrical problems

I am sure Mike Everson was correct in his response to my new electrical problem that I posted in my other thread yesterday, but I am having a tough time tracking it down. Mike said my issue is a bad ground. Here are more details: My front drivers side running light/blinker is much dimmer than the passenger side, but only when the headlights are in the on or running light position. When the headlights are off both sides are equally as bright. The passenger side does not change brightness when the headlights are on or off. It is just the passenger side. I checked the ground to the chassis coming from the harness near the drivers side light and it has good contact with the powder coating removed. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to why I am having this issue on one side and only when the headlights are in the on position?
    Thanks so much!

I assume kit supplied Ron Francis harness? Always good to specify when asking about electrical. If so, what about the main RF ground back by the fuse panel? That's the larger black wire the supplies grounds to the entire harness. I'd check that one to make absolutely it's solid and completing contacting raw steel. Redo it if in any doubt. The standard RF harness doesn't have chassis grounds at the lights like you described. So you added? Doesn't hurt anything. They should be pigtailed to the RF ground wire in the harness at the lights. Used to be common to add additional grounds at the four corners (I've done it) but with the newer harnesses, they are a bit more robust plus many are using LED's that don't draw nearly as much current.
