PCV and dry sump
I'm still waiting for my certificate of sequence to arrive so I can schedule a BAR referee appointment and I just had a scary thought. I've got a dry sump setup which has a breather can with an air filter plumbed to the oil reservoir's breather port. Doesn't seem to match the description of a closed loop PCV system, does it? Should I delete the filter to atmosphere and tee the The breather port of the reservoir into the PCV loop for the inspection?

Finally got my sequence number certificate. Only took 6 weeks. :-( I have a BAR phone appointment next week. The confirmation email includes a SB-100 document that says I've got to have a "closed crankcase with a type 4 PCV". Anybody know what a type 4 PCV is? Google isn't giving me much. I'm teeing my reservoir breather into one of the cylinder head ports and through another tee from the other head and an inline PCV from a 350 Chevy into the induction. I hope they buy it.
