Introducing the Factory Five XTF
The Factory Five XTF Pre-Runner Truck is a "Build-It-Yourself" Raptor on Steroids!
The crew has been working on this truck for a few years, and we are close to beginning production. Forum member Erik Treves is building the first beta truck. Truck #2 is shipping at the end of this week to customer John Kabacinski. Chassis #3 will be built next week, and is our race truck. We did a fun video with our friend Kevin Byrd a few weeks ago with our completed street truck. Full details are on our website.

Let me be the first (I think) to ask a question I haven't seen come up related to the XT1.
What about the diesel (3.0 Powerstroke) model of the F150? Will it work?
I realize that it may not be what most people are looking for in a prerunner style truck, or V8 bragging rights, etc., etc. But I bet I'm not the only dedicated diesel enthusiast who would enjoy an oil-burner under the hood of this beast!
If you're looking for a diesel beta build, maybe down the road a bit, I might just be your huckleberry, perhaps with some help from a well-known friend of mine over in Alabama... As my signature shows, I like doing things just a little bit different.
Thanks --
Cheers, John

How about selling Just The Body Kit for those who just want bigger wheels and tires?

Due to the extremely low volume of the diesel model, we did not look into it as a possible donor. We are not certain how it will work.

The body panels, rear fenders especially, are designed to fit around the tube chassis, and wouldn't fit over the existing bed.

Beautiful piece of engineering.
I have 2 questions:
1. Can the truck be lifted?
2. What grille guards will fit on it?
Thank you,

Hey Preston
The truck can be set at different ride heights depending on your build preferences. Two configurations are offered. Street and off road.
Grill guards are in development. We will see more in the next month or so.

How about a single cab shorty chassis? That would be a true Pre-runner truck. I don't think I've ever seen a crew cab length off road truck. I would definitely buy a SCS version of this. It would be a serious off road tool...

I hear what you are saying RD , but from what I know the short chassis is not in development . Sorta like when the raptor came out and offered the super cab and crew cab and everyone ordered the crew cab. The extra seats make the truck very practical. Yes a shorter truck would be better as a pure race truck, but as a daily driver I want the back seats.
Yes the extra space inside adds weight , but it’s easy to add power. Drop on a whipple supercharger and you get more power than you can reasonably use. When you can spin 37 inch tires at 60mph that seems like enough power.
You gotta drive this thing. You will instantly forget there is an extra row of seats.
