    1985 Toyota Celica convertible

Original Owner selling 1985 Celica convertible. Only 5000 factory conversions done. Not many left on the road. White on white. 5 speed. New top, Parade boot included, new hydraulic pump and pistons for top included but not installed. New fuel system from injectors to tank pump. Has not had fuel put in to test yet. Garage kept. 'Non-OP' since 2020. Ran well when last drove. 334,000 miles with a stock engine rebuild at 178,000 miles. Lots of maintenance paperwork. Small dent on left/driver side front corner panel. Small crack on dash. Left seat wear from seat belt rub.
    $8500 Willits, (northern) California

IIRC that has the same EFI 4cyl engine as the 4Runner and pickup of the same year. Solid little motor.

Yes, same engine as the pickup, 22RE. One of their best ever. The car has some of the earliest fuel injection also. Runs great.

That was a great little engine. My dad had an '82 Celica with a 22RE. It was one of the first engines I learned to wrench on.
