Latest update July 31st 2023:
I'm not sure if everyone saw the Facebook update (mostly about the truck), but Dave answered a response about any updates on the F9 in the comments:
"The F9 nose is being reshaped and until that is done to my liking it will not be released I would not hold my breath as the car may be in 2025 at this rate. I hope that helps Dave Smith"

At this rate of "development" will be able to register the F9 as a "classic" when it becomes available!

Works for me: I haven’t started my current build yet. But I’d like to make the F9 my next one.

Currently on evacuations due to wild fires in Western Canada and signed in just to +1 this sentiment to ensure Dave and the guys know this is something people want. I've been looking at the Ultima RS, Superlite SLC, Superlite GT-R, and a ton of other FFR kits but I am holding out for the F9 in a big way.

With the time and attention the team is putting toward the project, I anticipate it will be nothing short of glorious. As a betting man, I think your gamble will play in your favor.
I just can’t wait to see what their final version looks like and what the specs are… as well as what the most powerful Corvette motor available is by time they release it. When I do my build, I want my “hypercar” to be extremely hyper.
Cant wait to see what the earliest builders do when the kit is released!

I was there on Friday, still on hold. It’s parked in the office for eye candy.

It's an incredibly sexy car. I hope they move forward with production!

Forgot this pic, another one of Dave’s toys parked in front of the F9.

I had a Ducati 750 Supersport many years ago. Loved it! I saw this bike when I first visited Factory Five. It looks great

Don't do anything Superlite related. That company is a disaster. Very political owner and the cars are not sorted at all. That's why you don't see a lot of them. Many builders just give up when each car is on a 4 to 5 year timeline due to having to fabricate for the poor construction. I looked at the Ultima kits as well. Very small car and you can't get out the door for less than $120K with engine/trans.
Factory Five remains king of kit cars. I wish they hadn't sidelined the F9 for the truck though.

For me, there are street cars and race cars. When you take a street car and tack on so much CF stuff it ruins the looks. "hey look at me, I'm a race car!". I don't like that look.
