SCT X4 Power Flash Programmer - Worth it?

Just wondering if the SCT X4 Power Flash Programmers are worth investing in.
I have a pretty decent CODE reader already so if it's not going to do much more I don't want to waste the $400.

The canned tunes that come on the programmer from SCT are very conservative. If you go to someone like Unleashed Tuning they will write a tune specific to your needs and email it to you. You then use the SCT X4 (or other model from SCT) to load to the ecu, data log how the engine is performing and email it off to them. They will revise as needed and repeat. At least with Unleashed further down the road you do some more mods he will revise the tune.

I purchased a SCT x4 in 2012 for my Focus ST, since then I have used it on two Ecoboost Mustangs and now my Ranger.
