    E brake cable install

Looking at the build book for the type 65 beginning on page 88, it is not very clear how the E-brake cable is routed. I've heard some say you can not use the donor cable and have to order shorter cables.

How exactly is this run. It seems it comes through by the rear driver side coil spring; is that both cables that go through that side, or does one cable go through each side since only the driver side is shown and only 1 cable seems to go through there?

Then you do almost a 90 degree bend to get them to go through that mount in the tunnel, correct? Does that cause you to use up extra cable length so you do not have to go with a shorter cable? Help and good clean photo's would be useful. Thanks in advance, John.

DARKPT, I saw you answer on the other site, which prompted me to try the question here too. It seems odd that F5 would leave out the need for a shorter e-brake cable. The photo's are helpful however, showing much more in regard to the routing than the book does. Still, I hate having to buy two items (new e-brake cable for a mustang for the sheath and an alternative set of shorter cables to run inside of them) if I don't have to. In truth I'm kinda surprised that a F5 tech has not yet responded. Was really hoping this new site and this particular forum would keep my lengthy long distance calls down. John.
