    Speedstar Questions

Has anyone building a Speedstar fitted the waterfall yet? I have a few questions.

    1. How are you fastening or supporting it in the middle? Can't see a way of riveting or screwing it down without having fasteners showing on the body.

    2. Presumably the two curved fiberglass pieces provided are to fill in the open area on the top corners of the waterfall. What are you doing where the edge meets the body? I was thinking some windlace along this edge to prevent it from rattling against the body.

    3. FFR cut to slots in the waterfall so it can slide around the roll bar since the bar has to be installed before the body is put on. Are you making up something to cover the slots or leaving them open?

I am going to take a run down to FFR and take a look at the Speedstar in the show room to get some ideas Friday or Monday.

Had to stop by my son's house this afternoon so we dropped by FFR on the way. You are correct, the one they have in the show room has the hot rod water fall with an approximate 3" diameter fabric covered foam piece stuffed in between the body and the waterfall.
