Radiators, New smaller one in Stage 2 kit?
Anyone know if there is a difference between the radiators that came with the Stage 1 kit and the ones that now come with the Stage 2 kit or possibly the ones for the deluxe nose or truck. The one I got with my Stage 2 kit has a flat bottom tank that does not look like the one in the assembly manual that has a rounded larger bottom tank. It may be for the deluxe nose but I haven't seen one to know. It's at least 4 inches shorter than what the manual shows and there is no radiator filler for a cap. And no trans cooler.

That's what I was thinking. Going to the cruise-in next Saturday and bringing it with me.

The 35 Truck also looks like that per edwardb. Thanks for the pic. I hope they have the correct one in stock for Saturday.

This will help with installation on my truck, the manual references the other style. Huge help! Still trying to figure out the fiberglass mounting though.

you said Stage 1/2 a few times and I think you meant gen1/2.. but as you suspected the difference in radiator is due to the 33 or deluxe grill options.
the rounded one is the 33 grill version, I have that and still easily mounted inside a 32 grill, fwiw.

No I meant Stage 1 and Stage 2. The radiators originally came with a Stage 1 partial kit order. They now come with the second Stage of a partial kit order. They sent me the wrong radiator which I exchanged. All good now.
