Just starting my research into a type65r
Has anyone installed a sequential setup on the t56?
Separate question is, can I register (somehow) the "R" so I can drive it on the street as well? I'm in South Carolina if it matters.
Thanks

Not sure on the sequential. Way beyond my paygrade.
Yes, on the street. Just need to add the registration, license, insurance and features that your state requires. The "R" is just a chassis with additional roll cage, pretty much everything else is the same as the standard version.
Just an FYI, this is the same for the Mk4 Challenge cars.

Check with your state concerning regulations about obstructions in the windshield. The 'R' does have a brace in the drivers view through the windshield which may prohibit making the car street legal in some states.
My Type 65 Coupe: Ordered May 27, 2021. Arrived November 19, 2021.
I would like to treat my gas pedal as a binary operator. It would be nice to get the cooperation of everyone in front of me.
Thanks Jim. I'll have to reach out to the state

I talked to these guys yesterday Rick ether the owner or one of the owners.
they are great they trans can handle big power on heavy cars also 1800+ FTlbs. of torque.
they have a heavey viper using their tranny running 3000+ hp to the wheels in standing half mile and mile racing.
