I've got it all installed and the plastic on the accelerator trimmed right to the edge of the mount. But man that's close. Column seems to rotate ok. Should I move the mount or try as is?

I had the same issue. I trimmed the plastic as much as I could. I also loosened all of the bolts on the steering shaft bearing going through the footbox and moved the steering shaft as far away as I could with the limited play I had. It was enough to give me a little more clearance than you are showing in that picture.
I had a little more clearance until I mounted the Russ Thompson indicator which unfortunately moved the steering shaft closer to the accelerator pedal. I ended up with similar clearance to what you have and I haven't had any interference issues after 700 miles.

Yep, I had to trim a LOT as well and it barely clears. But...10 thousandths or 10 feet....clearance is clearance. Send it!
