I sold some sim racing hardware to a man from Plymouth Massachusetts, Dave Daylor, in 2020. I gave him the shop tour and showed him the customer R&D Daytona Coupe with heavy body alterations when he picked up the hardware. Dave talked about his FFR Mk3. He and his buddy Sean built Mk3's about the same time. https://youtu.be/sUDnpo0nLQY?feature=shared
Dave was very instrumental in my decision to build a Type 65 Coupe. Saturday I visited his shop in Bourne and got hooked on Sim racing again. This amazing machine must be seen and experienced in person. There was no motion sickness as with 3 actuator machines, just head to toe immersion. This machine needs to sit in the FFR showroom for a few days. He can load a Cobra or the Daytona Coupe in the sim using Assetto Corsa. My first time driving anything other than iRacing. Won't go into differences just noting the experience was 100% immersive from a very critical purist's perspective.
If you're in the Cape Code proximity, reach out and visit his shop to take a few laps. https://pcnetworkguys.com/

My first time behind the old Direct drive wheel since sellin it to Dave in 2020. I was hooked! https://youtube.com/shorts/Mcsn3AfGFU4?feature=shared Btw I did NOT give him $10,000 but my wife does NOT believe me. I taught her! Driving a deposit to Bourne later today to really teach her a lesson, heheheh. I will be sleeping in my shop for a while becuase I cant sleep with one eye open.
