Rear Hatch Adhesive-backed Rubber Trim / Gasket
Do you have a lead on where I might obtain some more of the adhesive backed rubber molding / gasket / edge seal that is provided with the Gen 3 Coupe for the interface between hatch glass and the body? I have scoured the web for that profile and density, and I am now cross-eyed :-)
I tried a section (left over from the length provided by FFR for the hatch) of that molding at the bonnet / cowl interface, and IMO it is PERFECT!
Any supply leads muchly appreciated :-)
Best ... Bob

try Steele Rubber Products I don't have the exact part number, I got some from them a couple of years ago. Look at the peel and stick items.

McMaster Carr caries a decent variety of automotive rubber gaskets, bulb seal, etc.

I reordered extra from factory five about a month ago. Didn’t like how it laid in the hatch corners. Ended up using the half moon/ D-shaped weatherstripping stripping for the hatch instead. Much neater and easy to lay into the corners.

Agree with your observation on the corners when used in the hatch "channel". It isn't really seen when the hatch is down. The curse of being a builder is we know where all the little bugs or errors or quirks are :-)
