Coyote install- where to attach hooks?
Hi,
Got my new Gen 3 Coyote and about to install it into my Coupe.
I have this engine hook mechanism (below), but where should it attach?
Does it attach to the same place where the engine is attached to the cradle for shipping (also below)?
I don't want to drop it!
Chris

You need to either buy or make brackets off the two mount locations. See photos

Thank you, very clearly indicated in your photos!
I'll have to figure out the bolt size.
Wish me luck.

I used these brackets to lift my Gen2 Coyote. The brackets come with the correct mounting bolts.

They could be an issue on the PS rear attachment point depending on your firewall clearance. My application is a 70 Mustang, a different animal.

Chris,
I used the same brackets as you but I did some bending on each of them to make them fit a little tighter to the engine. Not much extra room at those spots.
Good luck!

Or make your life easier and just get one of these.

You have to take the intake off, but that takes all of 20 minutes. Makes Coyote installs a LOT easier!
