    Hydraulic clutch slave bracket help

So I got the wrong bracket for the slave cylinder. Didn't notice until it was time to install the engine. Forte sent me the correct one now. I assumed it would mount to the out side of the transmission case. Apparently not for a T5. Engine is already installed so I am trying to think about how to mount that bracket with out removing the engine or transmission.

    Suggestions on mounting?
Maybe I can drill the bell housing from the outside?

Found this on line. Not sure if anybody has tried this solution.

I fabricated something similar to the bracket linked in the second post. It works really well.

You shouldn't have to remove the engine. remove the Transmission Y mount with a jack under the trans. you should be able to lower the trans via the jack and mount the new bracket.

Jiriza, that is way more work than I really want to do. Just ordered the bracket from post #2.

The external bracket worked well and would recommend it. I just added a spacer on the bolt to make the head a bit easier to get to with a wrench for tightening.
