Question Gen 3 Coyote-Need help with tach pls (Classic Instruments)!!!

Newbie here, first time posting. I'm building a roadster that's in the go cart stage. I need help with my tach, I have tried everything that I know of. Here's my setup, 3rd Gen Coyote, Tremec TKX, Ford Performance Control Pack, Classic Instruments (Auto Cross Series-Gray) I have a MSD 8913 Tach Adapter ( I was told this is what I Needed). I can't get signal, I have tapped into the coil, I have tapped into the purple wire that it tells you to in the manual. ANY help would be very much appreciated!

Did you follow these instructions on the FFR web site?
    https://www.factoryfive.com/wp-conte...ter-rev-1i.pdf
Cut the purple wire in half. the power side goes to red
the other side goes to Red/green
grey wire out to tach signal wire
The tach itself needs to be powered as well.
Did you set the switches on the back of the tach for 8 cylinder?

Hey Mike, I'm thinking I did. Maybe I'm confused on which is the correct purple wire? Any chance you could confirm that for me? Thanks again for your reply.

Pretty sure it’s the only purple wire in that connector
