The time has come to sell my Mk 4, number 8980. Although it is painful to sell, the wife and I are moving on to our next adventure, building a cabin! The car was completed in 2020 and has 4808 miles. The drivetrain is bulletproof with a DART 363, forged internals, TrickFlow aluminum heads, custom cam from Cam Research, and a Brawler 750 carb. Power goes through a Tremec TKX attached to a Quicktime bell housing and McLeod Street Extreme Clutch. Rear end is a 3.31 Ford Racing Trac-Lok limited slip with larger 31 spline axles. The paint is a midnight blue with pearl that looks black at night and sparkles blue in the sun. For chilly nights, the seats are heated.
The car was built by me and is titled in Virginia as a 1965 Factory Five Roadster.

Great looking Roadster. Even if it's not red. () You might want to add a few more details to your listing: Brake details, wheel/tire details, power steering yes/no, power brakes yes/no, hydraulic clutch yes/no, who built it (I expect you, but good idea to mention), build thread link if you have one, title details. Of course you can/will provide those details when contacted. But you may get even more interest with a few more details.
I've sold on here with good success. Also used BAT which was an OK experience. Just takes some time to get through all their hoops. Good luck with your sale.

As always, thank you for the great advice. Updating my original post now. Also, thanks for the kind words. I truly hope someone in the community ends up with the car.
Good luck with the sale Scott. Such a beautiful ride, but a cabin is also exciting! Don't forget Facebook marketplace. It's free and you get true locals that can actually come see the car which spurs more likely buyers. I sold mine there inside of 2 weeks from a couple that was an hour away.

Thanks for the compliments! Did you have to deal with a lot of tire kickers on Facebook Marketplace?
As the lucky guy assuming custody of Scott’s beautiful Cobra, I have to say what a pleasure it was to meet him and his family while completing this transaction. Now I’m impatiently waiting for that big orange trailer to show up in front of my house.
Congrats on you acquisition. I also live in Eagle and I share your excitement: I am expecting delivery of my MK4 complete kit from FFR (via Stewart) at the end of the month.
