    Exhaust fumes in cabin

Just purchased a type 65 gen 2 and have a strong odor of exhaust in in the cabin. Windows are mounted. Any suggestions?

Sounds like the cabin is not well sealed. I would check to see what the condition of the gasketing is between the body and sheet metal in the rear wheel wells. Check to see if there may be an exhaust leak and see how well the fire wall is sealed. These cars have lots of areas where exhaust can get into the cabin. It could also be getting in where the aluminum panels are mounted to the frame, if the builder did not use any sealant.
