    Breeze Big Bore Vent

I am curious if the Breeze Big Bore Vent is worth it or does the stock one work just fine? I wasn't sure if people were ordering one since they saw it in someone else's build thread or if it is an actual problem with filling the tank.

I've had no issues w/ the factory provided vent.
I would recommend getting an OEM filler neck gasket however. The FF provide one is known to split/leak over time.

I’ve used the OEM valve on every car I have built. Some have had the cut & spliced Mustang fill tube and others have the FFR tube and hose. None of them have a problem with filling.

Sounds good, looks like OEM it is! Thanks for the heads up on the gasket, I did already do that one based on reading build threads.

Is the Ford fuel tank filler neck seal grommet F4ZZ-9072-DA?

I considered using the Breeze big bore vent when I was building my MK4. When I spoke with Mark he told me that the current FFR vent was bigger than previous versions and that I probably didn't need to upgrade it. As usual, he was spot on. Mark's knowledge, honesty and professionalism is a rare combination in this day and age.

It is truly a rare personality trait these days.
