    No deburring tool for the sheet metal in your kit? No problem!

    Well, you learn something new every day. My son showed me this trick. Thanks Cameron.

    For the rough edges on the aluminum sheet metal pieces that come in our kits, rather than using a file to clean them up use the end flutes on a decent-sized drill bit as a makeshift de-burring tool.

    I just tried it now and it makes short work of an otherwise time consuming task.

    Yes, this is an old machinist's trick that still works. However, for about $US11 you can get one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...e?ie=UTF8&th=1 (another thing I learned from an old machinist). It works really well on all kinds of metal, and particularly well on deburring tubing.
