    New style door latches question

I have the new style door latches, I've had them sitting around in a bag for a few years so I'm not sure if the contents have changed.

My kit came with the parts in the photo but I assume I'm missing something that should be in the red circle.

Might one of you post a photo of your setup? Much appreciated.

The 427 striker spans the part to the left but the new locking mechanism doesn't match the photo in the 289 supplementary instructions. The striker is the rod on the right?

Might you have a photo of an installed 289 door latch?

I've just been informed by factory five that the door latches I've been sent are not compatible with a 289.

    One more delay.
