    Beware AI

    Just wanted to put this out there. Today I was looking into ordering a drive shaft for my roadster. Windsor block, TKX, Solid axel. And I searched in google 'length tko vs tkx'
    The first results on google now are the AI results which were the following:

    I think the AI generated content is misleading. I looked at the links provided by the AI and one is a Youtube video (I did not watch it) and one is to an article that is highlighted, I think to show where the information came from. The highlighted texted never says the unit is shorter rather it mentions the need to 'reduce the size of the transmission's envelope'. I did pull down the transcript of the video and searched for the word 'short' and it appears once referring to a short block. I searched for 'small' and it showed up 3 times. Once mentioning the trans tunnel requirements, and twice mention the case is smaller.

    Additionally I searched for 'reduc', 'reduce', and 'reduced' no mentions. I also searched for 'length' and the only mention of this word they said 'we talked at length' but nothing in context of what I was looking for. So there is no obvious reason the AI chose to say shorter.

    But in this case I would be more inclined to believe American power train article.

    Anyway I guess I'm just saying beware the AI information Google gives you, as is it may not be very precise.

    I changed over form a TKO to a TKX and called American Driveline to see if there were any physical changes to the case like mounting to the bell and the rear mount. They told me all of the physical measurements as far as mounting and length were the same. The shifter was the same also. the only real physical differences are the rounding of the case to make tight floor dimensions easier to deal with. Everything else is the same. AI seems to be having growing pains at our expense. I think it will only get worse from here until we will not be able to believe anything.
