And above that are people who can set points and dwell
Jeff
I have farmers pliers, and a piece of baling wire. I should be up there someplace.
Mrk III, 331 stroker, Borla stack injection, T5, 3:55 IRS, Power steering and brakes. Kleiner body & paint
I once drove from Denver to Western Massachucetts in an Opel Kadet with a match book (extra credit if you know what that is) keeping the points from grounding out against the distributor wall. This proves that point gap setting and dwell angles are approximate values! And yes I have and use my FORD wrench regularly!
I can take a set of points apart and file them and make them work, can adjust timing with a regular timing light, can adjust brake shoes on drum brake set up, can adjust carbs on cars and motorcycles, can repair the end of a clutch cable with a small torch and a drill, can actually weld with a torch and a clothes hanger like my granddad taught me, etc etc etc
