    USRC Race Version

Has anyone successfully built a FFR 289 USRC car for racing in SCCA, VARA, SVRA, SOVREN or any other vintage racing group ? I currently run a challenge car, in these orgs but thinking about another car.

Watching. I don't know if I'll ever get to full road racing, maybe a track day or two, but will definitely autocross. I did opt to go with Pin Drive and thinking that will most likely NOT be allowed but I can't find anything mentioned in the SCCA rules. We'll see!

Hi Tony, I'll be running my Coupe-R in Conference next year - maybe SOVREN, but really want to keep running my CF with the Emerald Cup guys. I'm building a 289 USRRC as well. Are you thinking about putting the Challenge car roll cage on a 289? That would be cool. Saw you were at the Invitational last weekend.

Many details on my Coupe-R are different from a typical Coupe build because mine is not street legal, race only.

    289 has a BP 302 mated to a TKX 18084.
