Fan is dead
Lol, the motor fan that is. All my fuses are good, I get power at the red wire going to the fan motor. Ground wire connection is good. Everything is pointing that the electric motor is fried.
Does anyone know if these motors are rebuildable, replaceable, or do I need to order a complete new fan assembly? I hate the thought of disassembling the front end.

Ideally, I would rather just replace the motor, and not even move the fan itself. I have Breeze Radiator Fan Shroud and hate the thought of having to disassemble the whole thing.
My old instructions are in a storage bin somewhere, and I don't recall how it all goes back together.

Just sayin but I just had to replace my fan relay.. I'm sure you checked this already by putting power directly to the fan...

I didn't, but I put the multimeter to the hot wire going to the fan, and iut was showing 15 volts.
I swapped Horn relay with Fan relay and they both seem to be good.

I had to replace my fan as well last year, also had the breeze shroud. Not too bad of a job. Agree with Mike, the Flex Lite fan is so much better, much quieter as well. Definitely worth the effort. I believe these fans have brushless motors, probably not worth trying to rebuild IMHO.

You would still have to remove the fan to replace the motor, so I don't see how that is any easier the just replacing the whole thing.

TBH I don't know. I powered the FFR supplied fan up on the bench and it sounded like an F4 on full afterburner but wasn't moving enough air to blow out a candle. It was painfully obvious it was just a cheap little fan so I bought the Flex-A-Lite. Even in 100 degree days here in Texas the engine has never gotten above 190 degrees according to my digital ECU screen. As for mounting, I've got the Breeze shroud and had to drill it for the mounting.

Or get a ridiculous over-kill solution like I did (only because I got a deal I couldn't pass up). Both fans operate at half-speed at the low temp signal from the ECU, and both at full speed at the high temp signal. You can barely hear the fans at either speed.

As I recall the mounting holes did not all match up with the flex lite

Replaced my broken fan with Flex-a-Lite fan. Holes didn't match up. I am running a breeze fan shroud, and old holes were nicely covered up. Had to drill new holes, but everything looked great once assembled. Hopefully this fan would last more then 2,500 miles.

I'd go for either a Flex a Lite fan or a Spal. I can't actually remember for sure which I had on my FFR but it was still good after 10yrs and 30,000 miles.
FFR MkII, 408W, Tremec TKO 500, 2015 IRS, DA QA1s, Forte front bar, APE hardtop.
