Congratulations Ross! You're in for a fabulous experience.
Yep. Your delivery looks very familiar.
Stewart couldn't get near my house much less through the entry gates so I enlisted a few buds with pickups and a trailer to carry the freight up my stupid steep driveway. That was Dec 15, 2021. I can't believe its been almost two years. Only thing left now is my body and paint guy, Mike Bowen and his Snake Pit (https://www.facebook.com/spotlightcustomcars/). Mike just finished Alec Davidson's beautiful Mk4. https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/show...476-Graduation. In pic 5 of 5 of Alec's post, (10/18) that's my cobra's body on a buck in the background; Mike was just getting started on the body work. Only a few more days now...

Like having an early Christmas when your build arrives.
Some of the best fun was doing the inventory, opening, and discovering, what was in the multitude of boxes. I loved that part.

Question on the Stewart dolly. The driveway from the road to my shop is roughly 100ft and is stone. Some of it is pretty smooth but other areas a rough because the stone is really coarse, like shown in this photo link.
https://www.zimmermanmulch.com/wp-co...-1536x1024.jpg
Also, in the areas where the coarse stone is it gets a little bumpy (not flat). So my question is, will the Stewart dolly handle this terrain or do we risk having the frame shimmy off the dolly?
For the boxes I'm not concerned because I have a tractor with forks and could load pallets wit the boxes. Or even shift them to my utility trailer and shuttle them that way.
Has anyone ever moved the frame and body with a fork lift? If yes how long do the forks need to be and what's the weight? I can look up the lifting capacity of my loader but I'm sure it could carry this with no trouble. I would have to pick up fork extensions though.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have picked up my chassis/ body combined, with 1.8 metre fork extensions.
Have also picked up the completed car to place it on jack stands using same fork extensions and 2.5 tonne forklift.
Cheers,
Nigel

Dolly should handle it, and you could always strap the frame to the dolly with a couple of ratchet straps to hold it in place.
