    Need a new Dash

    Hi -

I have a Cobra MK1 and need to replace the dash. Will this one fit in the MK1?

No, you need the MK1 dash. Steering shaft comes out in a different place.

Buy a piece of aluminum and make your own.
I do have a MKI dash that uses the Mustang gages that I never used.

Absolutely make your own dash! On my '33 Hot Rod, I just made a template from the original fiberglass dash and fabricated my own aluminum dash, plus it gave me a good excuse to try my hand at engine turning. I have a total of $30 into this dash, plus it was a lot of fun. The dash is now the most complimented item on my car at gatherings and shows. This could also be painted, covered with a wrap or vinyl.

I'd be curious to see what you have.

That FFR dash would not work for me because I have a Flaming River Tilt steering column.
