    GTM Front Splitter

Does anyone have a recommendation for a front splitter or have one sitting around that they want to get rid of? Asking before I buy one from FFR.

The aluminum front splitters that I make would fit the Gen II if you make some nice spacers to support the center part. We've installed quite a few of those on customer cars and wrap them in CF vinyl wrap. The biggest advantages are price and.....if you ding/crack your FFR CF one on a curb or driveway entrance or whatever....it's pretty much ruined with no way to repair it (cosmetically) and you're out $500. With an aluminum splitter, you pound out the dent and replace $30 worth of vinyl wrap.

No, it doesn't have the pretty profile of the FFR splitter (if you can even still get them from FFR?), but it is much more practical for a regularly street driven GTM.

The spacers would be a piece of cake. FFR still has them, spoke to them about lead time. I have some of that vinyl wrap that I used for the aluminum strips in the door jam...what is your lead time?

This is our aluminum splitter with the CF vinyl wrap....has our alum side skirts also....

Lead time on all of my aluminum parts is usually just a couple days from receiving payment to shipping the parts out.

Looks really good! Where is the lower air going to? Up through the radiator?

Yeah.....the splitter extends back to take the place of what used to be the flat alum half-moon piece....which aligns with that alum tray under the radiator.....so no different than a Gen I really.

I'm going to order them and the side skirts. Just waiting to get my hood back from a fiberglass guy.
