    Fuel return hose connection question

    Hey everyone,

I have figured out most of my fuel system, but I'm stuck on what is probably an easy answer.
I'm connecting my rubber 1/4" fuel return line to the fuel pressure regular and also to the in-tank fuel pump (with the hard line in between). The hose is too small to stretch over the fittings.
I'm sure there is some kind of easy connector that does the job, but nothing in the supplied kit.

    Thoughts?

Where did the fitting come from? It looks like it uses a quick connect fitting to make the connection.

Something like this depending on size.

I personally would not run a 1/4 inch return. 3/8 on both feed and return. All the parts including cloth braided hose can be bought on Amazon or other vendors.

That return port on the tank is not meant to have a rubber hose slide on it with a hose clamp, it will eventually slide off and cause a major fuel leak and fire hazard, being there are no barbs to retain the hose. That must use a quick release EFI fitting to properly attach that hose.

Thank you! I figured that it needed something like that. Looking into it.

Can you tell me the disadvantage of the 1/4" return? I figured if that what is supplied, then that's probably best

I have run into a few builds that I could not get the pressure low enough due to trying to push too much fuel through a small hose at idle.

Summit, Jeg's, or Evil Energy has good selections of those EFI quick release fittings.
