    Exhaust probelm

    Any suggestions to solve this?

On the left side, everything looks fine. Perhaps a small Breeze wedge to make muffler parallel to the frame.

However, things are different on the right side. The header needs to come out almost two inches to connect to the muffler. The muffler is also tilted downwards, about an inch and a half. I can most likely make up the space with Breeze spacers but it will not take care of the downward tilting.

Making some measurement, I find the left header is about 2 inches longer than the right cylinder 1 compared to 5. Correct?

Headers and mufflers supplied by FF, SBF

Contact FFR there is something wrong, maybe the wrong header. What is your car number? mine looked exactly like yours and mine is car #16 from early 2017. Do some measuring the engine should sit about 3/4 of an inch to the right. I had a spacer made to get the pipes to fit but don't do that until the body is on and you can see the final side pipe location. I ended up going with completely different pipes and headers in the end to quiet the car down.

    Mine is #104, June 2018

What did you do use for exhaust? Looking at the muffler on the the left side, it looks like #1 and #4 are very restricted, does not look god at all

I have the Boig quiet pipes on mine, they are a single pipe design. Still loud but not as loud as the FFR pipes I had. When I built my car that was the only option, there are others now. I changed mine because they were too loud, ears ringing after a short highway drive even with ear plugs. FFR may have made the new ones quieter?

had to go with Gas-n pipes from Georgie. Engine builder (Gordon L) said the stock configuration will cause too much backpressure. I had the older style headers (non ball) on my gen 3. got both the headers and side pipes from Gas-n. yep still loud but not as harsh as the stock pipes from FFR
