    Engine cover bow

Looking for some help. Finally finishing up a 7 year long build. (Life. Amirite?). Working on the final body work and I’m stuck. The engine cover has a bow to it and I don’t know what to do about it. I’ve seen finished cars that have this and I’ve seen cars where it sits flat. This is really bothering me to the degree of doing some drastic cutting to relieve it. Does anyone have an opinion on how to attack this? Thanks in advance!

Tape it in place and put it out in the sun for a few days. It's still hot enough in Houston to get some thermal release going on.

So its not resting on the fender in the middle? Its suspended when the ends are down? If so, listen to the other folks.
If its sitting on the flange, I had to cut the flange at several places to get the fit I wanted.

Yea, check that first, I assumed that had been done.
