2024 Volkswagen Dune Buggy for sale.

I built this buggy during covid. It is made with all new parts. 1641 engine with dual 40mm carbs. 4-spd transmission totally refurbished with new internals. All parts as well as engine and transmission came from Carolina Dune Buggies. Seats are water proof, bass boat carpet, 4-wheel disc brakes, digital instrumentation with GPS speedometer. Acme nostalgia body and frame. Florida titled as a 2024. I can email parts list to those interested in buying. Comes with never installed soft top and side windows. Also tow bar. Over 25K invested in it. I need space in my shop for new projects. 20K or best reasonable offer. I can deliver within 250 miles of Trenton, FL. Email- [email protected]

Just sold this to a great guy from the Florida Keys. He drove up to my place this morning over 500 miles. We took it out for test drive. I drove it to first subdivision we came to about 3 miles away. We swap seats and 1/2 home the buggy shut off. Ends up brand new EMPI electronic distributor went bad. Lucky for me a gave one away to a guy about 15 miles away a month ago. He brought back and we were able to fix it and Keith took it home 25 minutes ago. I know God likes to test my patience but I wish he would do it only when I am not selling something. Thank God for good car buddies.

The very first car I ever built (now somewhere over 100) was a metallic blue dune buggy same color as this back in 1968. Drove that car in high school and college including one drive from Massachusetts to San Francisco and back. Tons of fun but I don't think my old body could take the ability to get in or out or the ride either. Brought back a lot of great memories seeing this one!
