    left foot dead pedal/pad/rest?

Any of you guys install some kind of dead pedal pad for your left foot to rest on? I realize you 3 pedal people probably can't but this auto trans guy needs something. The angle of the firewall is not good on my left foot.

I've been chewing on ideas for that issue for some time. The current favorite thought is to make a pocket into the triangular space between the chassis tubes and then add a small ledge to the vertical tube = footrest with a few toes stuck out through the cockpit wall (it's the only way to fit my 13 EE shoes past the brake pedal). It's either that or go to left foot braking.

I did play with an aluminum plate with a side bend to rivet to the side panel. After what seemed like hours of trying to find a suitable foot placement, I came up with a basic, crude, temporary idea to work with. It's riveted to both 1x1 frame bars and not just the aluminum panel and rests against the floor and firewall. Needs some tweeking but i'll drive it and get a feel for what I want to change
