    Expansion tank mounting

Hey guys, how far above the 3/4" upper radiator mount tube can an expansion tank be mounted without interfering with the hood?

For example, in this picture (Thanks Kevin!), how far above the 3/4" tube to the top of his radiator cap?

    Thanks for the info!

Might be hard to see but the rivet in the box holds one of the mounting straps to the tank. Its bent even with the bottom of the cross brace. From that bracket at the bend to the top of the cap is just under 4"

If I am understanding correctly, from the bottom of the 3/4" tube to the top of your radiator cap is just under 4", correct?

Yes. The side of the tank is 2". From the top of the tank to the top of the cap is less than 2 inches. The bottom of the tank is even with the bottom of the bar.
