Sling TSi Build Fuselage Walkaround Video #4
For those that are interested or following my airplane build, today I did another walkaround video of the progress over the past three months. Engine, prop, and firewall forward components are due here next month. Those will be my last parts from Sling. Sometime around the end of the year the wiring harness and avionics will go in. Then it will have to be relocated out of my garage for paint and final assembly. Still a really interesting and fun experience.

Very cool! Love aviation and was about halfway through my PPL training before life got in the way. Always dreamed of building a Vans, but I lack the time, skills, space, and coin to do it! The build looks awesome, had to watch the other build vids to catch up! Good luck with everything - blue skies & tailwinds!

Absolutely not. Thankfully! All the holes are cut mostly full size with some occasional match drilling. The kit is a study in modern mfg technology. Not quite 100%, but the fit of the parts, bends, holes, etc. is pretty amazing. Someone asked me how many rivets. While likely not exact, I’ve been throwing all the rivet mandrels in coffee cans. Weighed the cans and a sample size of the rivet mandrels. A little math shows somewhere north of 8,000. That could be way off. But it’s a lot.

Picked up this T-shirt at a workshop a few weeks ago. Don't plan on wearing it. At least in public.

Are you kidding me?! If I had the confidence and skill to build an airplane, you darn well know I would be wearing that shirt every time I went up!
I don't know much about building planes, but it looks like your talents transcend building cars to me. Very Cool!
