Happy Holidays! Need help with the radiator please.

1. The my radiator "tunnel" has a huge step in it which is different from the manual (circled in red). Is some piece too short, too long, or ok?

2. What the heck does the "upper radiator mount" look like that passes through the slot? (see arrow).

He has some great photos showing how it all goes together, the top piece rivets to those two "wings" sticking up. The radiator mounting strap is steel, U shaped.
