    Looking for a wiper tool

Does anyone have a wiper tool I could buy or, borrow and return. Or, have dimensions or a drawing to use for wiper wheelbox location. I have the FFR drawing with the measurements from the windshield slots but I need the distance from the hood opening on a MK4.

    Thanks, Dave

I didn't have a wiper tool as I went with wipers from specialty power windows. What I did was measure 1.5 inches forward of the front windshield post hole and 15 inches in. The 2nd wiper was at 30 inches from the drivers side post but can be further. I had a northracecar ac and the box for it would interfere if it was further on the passenger side. For the angle I just used some metal tubing cut at a 45degree angle

    Dave,
I just went thru this on my Mk4. Going to paint next week. FFR has a Wipers-Roadster-rev-P pdf on their parts website. Hood to angled holes is 3". The holes were a pain to drill even with tool as the hole is large and drill wants to walk. Just need to clamp the tool down well. I have the tool if you need. PM me. Regards Waterman

Read the manual before drilling the holes. The tooling is designed for MK1, 2, 3 & 4. MK4 is not aligned from the end (bent) edge.
