What Tire PSI are you running?

I suspect multiple answers are scattered through several post, but I wanted to get a consolidated opinion of what Tire PSI are you running. I also suspect many are using tire size 245/45-18. Please state your tire size and psi. I did a search on "psi" and came up with nothing?

I've heard 25psi, but have no idea if that's correct

    Thanks Mark

1 psi for every 100 lbs of weight. I run 23 psi in my 33 Speedstar.

Use a paint pen and put a line across the tread on all four tires the drive it a short distance. Paint worn out in middle of tread = too much pressure, paint worn off at outside edge of tread = not enough pressure. I did this on my roadster and ended with 18 psi rear and 19 front with the tires warmed up.

Correct PSI will be different for different rim width and tire construction.

Ditto to Bronco Mike's reply. Paint stick or chalk lines across the tread, then see how evenly they wear off. This is also how I determined the correct pressure on Jeeps with huge oversize tires. I also had a '23 T-Bucket with 21" wide rear Mickey Thompsons and with so little rear axle weight, I was down below 10 psi on my rear tires. My 33 hot rod tires are kept at about 25 psi.

245/45ZR18's on mine on all four corners. I ran 24 PSI front, 24 PSI rear, cold. Seemed about right. But as others have posted, ways to find out more precisely.
